Video Production & Podcasting

My fascination with videography began back in high school, where I took part in a co-op with Trillium Cable and later continued as a volunteer. This passion led me to study Radio & Television Broadcasting at Centennial College for a year, further deepening my understanding of the industry.

More recently, I began volunteering with Rogers Cable and immersed myself in the dynamic world of video production, gaining hands-on experience in camera operation, audio mixing, graphics overlay, and both analogue and digital editing suites. This invaluable experience sharpened my technical and creative skills, solidifying my expertise in storytelling and execution. I am proficient in DaVinci Resolve and adept at crafting compelling visual narratives that connect, inform, and inspire audiences.

My time with Rogers Cable led to an opportunity as Technical Director for the Barrie Jr. Sharks Videocasts, where I spent significant time fine-tuning broadcast technologies using OBS, Canva, and proprietary scoreboard automation software to enhance live game coverage.

Additionally, my involvement in Toastmasters opened the door to a new podcast series for District 123, Speaking From Experience. I took on the role of Creative Director and Editor, overseeing the production of nine episodes so far, with more in the pipeline. My contributions to District 123 have also extended into the realm of digital outreach, as I now serve as Social Media Manager, helping to amplify the organization’s message and engagement.

Through these experiences, I have continued to refine my technical skills and storytelling abilities, driven by my passion for producing impactful and engaging content.
